Hello! I’m Saurabh, widely known as Saurabh Drone Wala — a DGCA-certified drone pilot, aerial cinematographer, and the founder of Saurabh Drone Wala, a trusted drone videography and photography service based in Delhi NCR, serving clients across India.
My drone journey started over 7 years ago with a deep fascination for drones. I began learning everything — flying skills, creative angles, regulations, and aerial videography — through self-study and hands-on practice. Around this time, I launched my YouTube channel "Saurabh Drone Wala" and started consistently sharing drone-related content: honest reviews, tutorials, gear comparisons, shooting tips, and real footage to educate and inspire the drone community in India.
While continuing to grow my drone expertise and YouTube channel (uploading regular videos on DJI launches, rules, tips, and more), I pursued digital marketing as my secondary passion. From 2020 onward, I learned digital marketing skills and worked full-time in SEO jobs. This phase provided stable experience in online strategies and content, but drones remained my primary passion — the channel kept growing as a trusted source for drone information.
In 2025, I made the big decision to follow my true passion full-time. I invested in professional drones, obtained my DGCA certification to become a licensed Remote Pilot, secured insurance, and officially launched Saurabh Drone Wala as my dedicated drone videography and photography business. This marked the transition from hobby + side content to running real client projects across weddings, real estate, events, and more.
After going full-time, every project accelerated my skills dramatically. I specialized in cinematic 4K+ aerial footage: dramatic wedding drone entries (often teaming up with my brother for perfect coordination), real estate showcases, event coverage, construction timelapses, tourism videos, and corporate content. The YouTube channel continues strong with updates on latest tech, tutorials, and behind-the-scenes, combining 7+ years of drone knowledge with real-world business experience. Now DGCA-certified, fully compliant, and equipped with advanced gear, I deliver safe, high-quality services nationwide.
